- After learning how dance was used to foster rehabilitation and reconciliation in Rwanda after the genocide, I shifted my efforts towards using my 18 years of ballet and modern dance training as a tool for working with sensitive and marginalized populations

Here is a link to a workshop I recently conducted with girls from different ethnicities and cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The objective of the workshop was to bring together youth from different ethnicities through dance in an effort to promote peace throughout the region. Although 13 years have past since the end of the war, the bitter legacy of ethnic tension still lingers.
The girls will soon be performing their own choreographies throughout the country in an awareness campaign which addresses problems affecting youth, such as segregation and poverty.
