Not really familiar with where places are in US ... will have to look up a map, or rather these days Google it to find Timbergate. Wanishi is a lovely saying. My ex-husband is of Native American Indian (Fox-Masquite or something like that). I read the petition about Chief Iron Thunderhorse, signed it and left a couple of comments. Sorry to hear they had you in Nam ... personally, I am against war in all forms, slavery and domination over another - all forms of mental illness I believe. Been a long time since anyone called me Girl :) Glad it made you feel happy. Also had a look at the surrealism site ... wow that Kris Kuksi is a fabulous sculpturer ... amazing insight ... bookmarked it to have a closer look later. I need to get some sleep as it's 9.26am here and haven't slept since Saturday night/Sunday morning. Good to hear you like to make other's smile & laugh ... way to go. Life's suppose to be about fun ... not the crap human's go through :)

No, I wasn't anywhere near the fires ... they were in another state although we do get them in NSW but up in the Blue Mountains ... a fair distance from where I am. Oh dear, your daughter is moving you to Nth Calif Mountains area ... I have a friend who lives up that way ... at least I think it's near there ... a place called Timbergate in Orange County. Well, I certainly hope you don't have trouble with fires there.
It shouldn't e a problem adding your daughter's work here if you also note that it is her work by stating her name as the artist but I would check with Kathleen, the site administrator first ... click on the link on the right there where her pic is and email her with the query.
I haven't heard of that site you left link for but will check it out ... surrealism ... should be interesting, thanks for the link.
