Would you like to add some details about yourself?
Mother of two teenage girls. Only gub in an indigenous family.
Have been producing artwork for over thirty years but now hoping to take advantage of the digital age and fully emerge as an artist. Major interests include indigenous issues, environmentalism and local community involvement.
Who do you admire most?
For the moment, Obama and all Americans who voted for him. Yet to be proven, I think they hold the greatest hope for a global mind shift toward empathy, nuture and saving the earth at this point in time.
What are your main influences and inspirations?
Staying true to the notion of 'Think global, Act local'; and the many people who have and do.
What do you hope to discover through your experience with the ART ACTION UNION - CREATIVE PRO-ACTIVISM network?
Some fantastic work. Greater understanding of what activism is taking place around the world and opportunities to network and support. Inspiration, comradeship, a little eye-opening and a lot of fun.
