- ~ Primarily a digital artist and designer, I enjoy creating posters and prints from a eclectic variety of inspirations ranging from the sweet and serene to the devilish and disturbing. I like to look for an awkward perspective to present my ideas.
~ I aspire to inspire a positive force for social conscience and responsibility through creating a vision of awareness, spiritually and conceptually.
~ For the most part, my career has consisted of many creative roles including events management, media and publicity, community arts, advertising, marketing and graphic design. These roles span areas such as government, film and television, performance, education, printing, publishing and web. I freelance in anything that comes my way of fancy and am an advocate for participation in my community.

- active artists and musicians... and self portraiture artists...
some are... the herd, combat wombat (aussie hip hop), john butler trio, powderfinger, pearl jam, michael franti and spearhead, ani difranco, rage against the machine, gorrilaz, beastie boys, u2, rem, pop will eat itself, alanis morrisette, tori amos, bjork...
- What are your main influences and inspirations?
- as above... + greek mythology... if the world wasn't such a mess we could all focus on art that was purely aesthetic... wouldn't that be lush!
- What do you hope to discover through your experience with the ART ACTION UNION - CREATIVE PRO-ACTIVISM network?
- that there are a lot of people who are concerned about this world on all levels, and that by meeting in a common place, we can coordinate to promote our concerns and our art as well...

Creative Nine said… - Hi Kathleen, great to hear your interest! it would be wonderful if you would like to be involved. The arts markets is at Aspley Village Shopping Centre (605 Robinson Road West, Aspley) every Sunday from 9:30am till 3:00 and focus on fine art and fine craft in all areas. The markets is completely free, with no need for public liability, and no locked in contract, all you need its your own display stuff (tables, easels etc). If you wanted you could come and set up on Sunday, or just come and have a look, or one of the Sundays coming up, whenever would suit you would be great! We are trying to create a community arts hub in Aspley and hoping that we can put Aspley on the map as a cultural and creative suburb.
